Y12 work for Ms Hamnett - no lesson Monday 9th November

Work for this lesson is as follows;
Revise for the test on Thursday, everything we have done so far on particles, decay etc
Complete the questions I gave you in the lesson- check and correct your answers, correct answers will be posted on this blog on Tuesday
 Prepare a one minute presentation for the rest of the class for next week about "my favourite particle".

12b Physics - no lesson tomorrow p3 with Ms Hamnett

Dear Y12
Sorry I am not in school today.
Please can you use the time to revise for the upcoming test which Dr Spence will tell you about.
Please can you also make an A4 summary of all the groups of particles you know about so far.
This should include;

• group
• all properties of that group (baryon number, lepton number, strangeness, charge)
• quark content
• examples of 3 particles in each group with all their properties and the same for their antiparticle.

This can be a list, flow chart, poster, table etc - whatever you want, but 1 page only and brought to next lesson on Thursday
