Dear Y12
For next week's lesson, please can you make notes on alpha, beta and gamma decay and the changes to the nucleus caused by each type of decay.  Find an example of a balanced decay equation for each one and bring your notes to next Tuesday's lesson.

12b Ms Hamnett work for Thursday

Dear 12b
I am away on Thursday 17th September - here is the work I am setting you;
1. Complete the "Maths for Physics" test given out in class and bring to next lesson
2. Read the "Quarks and the weak interaction" article, highlight all the Physics vocabulary you know in one colour and write definitions of each word.  Then highlight all the vocabulary you don't know in another colour and bring to next lesson.
This article is not aimed at confusing you, but mean to show you how far you will get - it probably looks like gobbledygook now but you will understand most of it by just after half term!
Thanks
Ms H
